March 2008
From March 27th-30th, I'm off to Salt Lake City for the 2008 World Horror Convention! I’m luck and honored to be selected to appear on 4 panels this year:
- Screenwriting 101
- The Psychology Behind Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde
- What Authors are Horror Writers Reading
- 100 Years of Horror in Film
Like past conventions, I'm looking forward to all the networking and camaraderie amongst my fellow dark fiction writers. I’m also very much looking forward to the purchasing of some great hard-to-find classic horror novels, spending time with old friends from my Los Angeles writers group, and getting to visit another new city.
I'm also set to enjoy a wonderful side trip back in L.A. for a few days prior to the convention. I can't wait to visit "home" and get back to the beach…I feel like an old "Warrior" fighting his way back to Coney Island!
